Move Out Program
For over 10 years the Calgary Drop-In Move Out Program provides low-income Calgarians and people at risk of homelessness with the essential items they need to set up a home at zero cost. Partnering with 70 other Calgary agencies within the sector, this program has a broad reach helping those in need.
The need is great, in 2017 we will have helped more than 800 individuals and families. We gave away 2,882 large pieces of furniture and 2,517 boxes of household items.
With your help, we could do more to meet the needs. The Move Out Program operates as a completely unfunded program and therefore is only made possible by donations of household goods and furniture, all you have to do is drop it off at our Donation Centre, we stage it and then it goes to someone in need- for Free!
