Meal Serve Volunteers are responsible for feeding many of the 3,500 hot meals the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre provides to homeless men and women every day. By bringing food from the kitchen to our clients tables, you are the last point of contact between when a person walks through our doors to when their hunger pangs are finally soothed.
This is perhaps one of the most emotionally satisfying volunteer roles we offer, and is perfect for anyone and everyone who wants to feel like they’ve made a meaningful difference in another person’s life. Meal Serve Volunteers get to see first-hand the level of gratitude and humility that is experienced here every day
