The Kitchen Prep Volunteer helps the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre provide more than 3,500 meals a day to homeless men and women. They support our chef team by helping to chop vegetables, make sandwiches, wash dishes, plate food, and stock incoming orders.
An ideal role for anyone with kitchen and/or safe-food handling experience, the Kitchen Prep Volunteer is great with following direction and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment. For individual volunteers this is a minimum of three month commitment.
Volunteer orientation attendance is required for this opportunity.
